The SoundCloud rapper Lil Peep was about to turn 22. Instead he became one of the many Americans that died in the Opioid Epidemic last year.

Millions listen to SoundCloud rappers normalizing drugs, but Lil Peep’s overdose was titled a wake-up call.

The Opiod Victims Remix campaign will launch on November 15th, one year after his death.

A minute without vocals will end all Lil Peep’s songs on SoundCloud. A minute of silence for the opioid victims.

A tribute playlist will grow as other artists remove their voices from the last minute of their songs as well. By silencing voices, the campaign aims to send a loud and clear message.
